For the July issue of Columbus Monthly I photographed yo-yo enthusiast and jazz musician, Jim Maneri, at his fav. yo-yoing spot under the highway overpass near the White Castle headquarters. It was a bit of a hike to get to and once underneath the the sounds of the overpassing traffic, the near-by construction, and the probability that strange things happen there after dark (or at least that’s what I imagined), gave me this eerie feeling inside. Anyways… here are some photos from the shoot.
