Jim Maneri

For the July issue of Columbus Monthly I photographed yo-yo enthusiast and jazz musician, Jim Maneri, at his fav. yo-yoing spot under the highway overpass near the White Castle headquarters.  It was a bit of a hike to get to and once underneath the the sounds of the overpassing traffic, the near-by construction, and the probability that strange things happen there after dark (or at least that’s what I imagined), gave me this eerie feeling inside.  Anyways… here are some photos from the shoot.

    These are awesome man! My favorite is the one where he’s leaning back and it looks like he’s giving a thumbs up. Great stuff.
