The new year started with a bang in more ways then one, (a new year’s eve wedding party at The Loft in Columbus and getting hit with a rouge firework) both were exciting in different ways. If your wondering, getting hit with the firework did not injure me, it just left some burn marks that have faded with time. What did it look like? [Like a couple hundred sparklers were swirling around me---- One of the guest at the party said they thought I was on fire]

Listening to myself complain about the lame photo assignments to one of my editors, I decided to revive my black journal and fill it with any and every idea I think of. Chase Jarvis mentioned this (here) and is consistently advocating for photographers to embrace their creative spirit. I do know that I need to pay more attention to it. From inspiration to action….I hope to post more as I open myself up to something new.
